I am currently working on new drawings, shapes, and sculpture ideas. Planning on broadening the range of materials used within my practice, reintroducing an element of tension and a contrast between sharp, precise, angular shapes and soft, limp, handmade outcomes. Spontaneity, materiality, process, Post-minimalism and Anti-Form remain important. Combining multiple shape components in one sculpture and increasing the level of artist interaction with the work is also becoming apparent. Eva Rothschild, Yang Zhenzhang, Anselm Reyle and Ernesto Neto are currently informing these ideas.
